Alas, Fall is here, my favorite time of year. Although it is still quite toasty outside, we know cooler temperatures are just around the corner...and so is Halloween! So, we decided to get a jump on the fun and have some adorable pictures to share from our latest kid-friendly Halloween shoot.
THE ART OF ENTERTAINING: BOO! IT'S HALLOWEEN TIME
We dressed a kids table from The Good Life Collection with a "mummified" runner and some classic Halloween decor. A collection of birds, pumpkins, spiders and a spooky candelabra adorned the table along with the rich fall colors of the floral arrangements by STEMS Floral Design, setting the scene to be just eery enough not to scare the kids away.
Trick-or-Treat? I think I'll take a treat, thank you! Halloween is an easy holiday to have fun getting creative with your desserts. Simon Lee Bakery crafted the cutest (and yummiest) goodies - ghosty strawberries, mummy pops, candy corn fudge, candied apples, pumpkin petit fours and Halloween cookies stole the hearts of 5 year olds (and their mommies too).
If you're hosting a younger crowd, you will certainly want to include some appropriate entertainment. This craft table was so much fun for these kiddos! With bellies full o' sugar, we sent them off with plenty of wood crafts and pumpkins and let them creatively unleash their wild side thru paintbrushes.
What is more fun than dressing up your kids in costumes? Taking pictures of them! Setting up a pumpkin patch is a great way to capture the costumed cuties! All you need are some hay stacks, pumpkins, kids and costumes...and of course a photographer or just your handy iPhone.
Holidays are such a blast and we love to get creative with each one, but most of all, we love to enjoy them with our families, creating memories that last a lifetime. Have a Happy Halloween everyone!
