To celebrate turning 41 tomorrow, I am hosting a 41 Day Meditation Challenge that starts tomorrow, 4/25 and I’d love for you to join me! 🧘🏻♀️ They say it takes 20 days to break old habits and 20 days to form new ones...and in this case + 1 to grow on! 🧘🏻♀️ Here is how you can join and we can support each other: - Join my FREE FB Group: Meditate for 41 - Determine a style of meditation, mantra or Kriya that you can stick with for 41 days - sticking with one particular style for at least 40 days is the most powerful way to notice growth and transformation as well as helping you to stay committed - it’s magic! However, if this is new for you are welcome to try out several different practices to find one that suits you, but I recommend settling on one by day 10. - Pick a place and set a time that can be your meditation spot and schedule it in and schedule your day around it. This will help you to make a commitment. - Download the Insight Timer app on your phone. This will be your log and timer, which will help you track your days/times. - start with 5 minutes then increase to 8min, 10 min, 15 and work your way to a minimum of 20min but try to build up to 45 minutes to an hour if you can. - Attend my Meditation classes on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 9am at @Sukha yogaaustin to learn more, get support, share energy with others and take a deeper dive into your practice. DM me for a FREE Class! - I will be hosting a few freebie group meditations in a park on sunny days as well, so keep an eye out for those invites. - Read a book about meditation during these 41 days so you can expand your practice. I will share recs in the FB Group. - the only rule is if you miss a day, you must start over. So we begin on 4/25 but your “end” date is up to you. Sukha Flow + Meditation
Meet us on the mat for a very special offering! This class combines mindful vinyasa yoga with an extended meditation practice.
Perfect for those of us wanting to experience a body, mind, heart practice with extra time to integrate with meditation.
Each class will weave 40 minutes of yoga asana with 20 minutes of meditation from the Buddhist and/or Kundalini lineages
This may include:
dynamic breath work, mantra, silent contemplative practices, loving kindness meditation, guided pranayama.
NOTE about Sukha Meditation
Each meditation will be curated based on season, passage from a mediation book, or intention based on a specific practice technique to provide valuable safe space with a certified Sukha Yoga Meditation teacher.
Each teacher will have completed a minimum of 200 hours in meditation training with Erinn Lewis and Mark Herron in addition to their extensive personal practice.

This class is geared for those that practice martial arts looking for that extra edge. We focus on gentle stretching to aid in recovery and relaxation of the body and mind. In addition to asana, or poses, we practice breathing techniques, and meditation. This class is beginner friendly and a great compliment to boxing, running, or other martial arts. This class is open for drop ins!

This class is a hybrid of yang (active yoga) with yin (passive yoga). We will begin with 30 minutes of gentle yoga to build strength, warmth and flow with fundamental yoga postures while relieving stress and tension by connecting breath with mindful movements. We will then move into yin (or passive yoga) to create flexibility, mindfulness and softness to release the connective tissues, create space and integrity in the joints and remove blockages to internal energy flow. Finally we will finish class with breath work, mantra & meditation.
**50% of the proceeds for attending this class will benefit Rowdy Girl Sanctuary
Rowdy Girl Sanctuary is the evolution of a very special story of two native Texans—one a multi-generational cattle rancher and former hunter; the other one, his wife, an ex-rodeo lover, and leather cowboy boot collector. Their story has turned into a mission to build an organization that rescues farm animals; and to be good stewards of their care forever in a sanctuary determined to become a state of the art animal care facility, and a plant based/environmental resource education center. Rowdy Girl Sanctuary will inspire other ranchers to experience a paradigm shift, and help them move from participating in the cruelty of factory farming to living out compassion towards the animals whose lives usually end in brutal death. This is Rowdy Girl Sanctuary’s greatest goal.
Their mission is to open all hearts, minds and souls to a vegan lifestyle, the horrors of factory farming, plant based food options, and the devastating impact of animal agriculture on the environment. Our hope is to produce many more animal sanctuaries transitioning from Texas beef cattle ranches to vegan farm animal sanctuaries.
